Bread Buddies
This is a collection of original toys, handmade by myself! I took them from 2D concept, 3D sculpting, to 3D printing and painting!
Programs used: ZBrush, Chitubox.
Printed using a Saturn 4 Ultra Resin Printer.

Process Breakdown
First, I started with loose sketches of the sort of creatures I wanted to make!
I knew I wanted to make something small and cute that would fit into my Bread World and be a cute toy to display!
I sculpted them in ZBrush. Then, began figuring out how I wanted them prepared for 3D print with a draw over! I wanted to make sure it made painting easier, and to separate pieces with this in mind.
I made sure everything fit together and prints were successful before moving on to the final sized up prints! (Pictured above)
After sanding and priming, the painting process began!
This was my first time using an airbrush and I had a really great time with it and learned a lot. I used thinned down Liquitex Acrylics for airbrushing and hand-painted the eyes! I researched many different tips on using an airbrush and as I went through the process.
I had fun mixing the colors to match the concept and seeing the models come to life with paint!
I had some fun with the photos I took with them after finishing up the project!
This was my first foray into toy making and loved every second of it. I also learned an entirely new pipeline for 3D sculpting for toys rather than games! I got a newfound respect for those that make indie toys full-time and indulged in creating more bread characters!
